Taryn Nugent and Lane Peterson founded Adventurer’s Respite(TM) as a Christian Nonprofit meant to better the local community. We hope to increase sustainable practices as good stewards of our natural resources and pre-existing materials, lessening the burden on the local landfill.
We further aim to teach forgotten or fading skills like leatherworking, blacksmithing, wood working, and sewing.
The nonprofit’s ultimate goal is to become a place for second chance hiring, helping people with disabilities, and partnering with local agencies for provision of social services.
Adventurer’s Respite(TM) is a Registered Nonprofit of Texas and a Federally Tax Exempt Nonprofit (501(c)3), organized for religious, educational, environmental, and charitable purposes.
All donations are tax deductible!* We will be sending out donation acknowledgement letters for any who donate $250 or more.
