Melvin Kelsey of Rockin K Woodworking is a local to Wichita Falls, Texas. He has generously offered his handmade wood creations as thank you gifts to donors and as raffle prizes!
Like our Board members, Melvin grew up reading the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. He has always loved the medieval time period and was raised on a farm, taking care of animals, tending gardens, and learning about wildlife. He gained a love for woodcraft after high school.
We are so excited to be working with “Medieval Melvin” to teach people how to woodwork simply and beautifully. His content will appear on our YouTube Channel and he will be with us as an Adventurer’s Respite vendor as we join community events to spread the word on this joint dream of “the Respite”.
