The entire Board plays Dungeons and Dragons regularly and have a passion for gaming and nature. Taryn grew up and was inspired by watching the cartoon Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and playing Oblivion. She has a passion for botany, herbal remedies, and biodiversity.
Alexina has always loved fantasy. She grew up reading Tolkien and fairy tales. She has a passion for cooking, farming, homesteading and other sustainability methods.
Lane likewise was an avid reader, especially enjoying the Warhammer Universe. He has a passion for blacksmithing, leatherworking, and all things Medieval.
They decided to create Adventurer’s Respite (TM) to create a sanctuary for likeminded people: those with creativity, a love for adventure, and a desire to escape. To create something beautiful, away from the hustle and bustle, to enjoy the scenic mystery of medieval renaissance while still enjoying modern conveniences like plumbing and HVAC.
They had the joint dream to create a large tavern as a gathering point where bards can play nightly, people can learn forgotten skills like swordplay, blacksmithing, leather working, and woodworking.
A place where the community can learn to farm sustainably, cook old fashioned, sew their own clothes, and gather with other creative friends.
